Arrivals and Departures

To make your arrival and departure as convenient as possible, we ensure that your accommodation will be ready by 4:00pm on the day of your arrival. As for check-out, we kindly request that you vacate the accommodation by 11:00am on the day of departure. We understand that special circumstances may arise, and we'll do our best to accommodate any requests regarding these timings. Just give us a call, and we'll be happy to discuss this with you.

We really appreciate you letting us know your planned time of arrival, we will ask you in advance as this allows us to ensure that your stove (seasonal) and hot tub are ready for you - should you be delayed on your journey it is helpful for you to keep us updated on your new estimated arrival time.

Cancellations and Refunds

Life can take unexpected turns, and we recognise that plans might shift. If you need to cancel your reservation we will be happy to look at alternative dates that may be more suitable for you (subject to any price changes). Please be aware that our cancellation policy remains in effect even in cases of personal illness, including situations like Coronavirus, pandemics or other illnesses. If travel is restricted due to government regulations and you're unable to join us, you can choose to postpone your stay to a later date within the next 12 months (with any price changes for the new dates taken into account).

While it's unlikely, if there is a breach of these terms of contract that necessitates asking your party to leave, we won't provide refunds.

Noise

Our goal is to ensure that all our guests enjoy a peaceful and delightful stay with us. We kindly ask you to be mindful of the noise levels during your time in our shepherd huts. We wish to ensure we create a tranquil environment for everyone.

Soaking tubs

Beyond soaking in a natural hot spring, it’s difficult to imagine a more indulgent and soothing outdoor experience than enjoying a hot tub full of steaming hot water, feeling the crisp air around you with nothing but the sound of a crackling fire and scent of cedar in the background. Each hut has a personal wood fired eco soaking tub, so just give us a heads up beforehand that you're interested in using it, and we'll make sure the tub is all set for your arrival, crafting the ideal inviting atmosphere for you.

Please note: you need to monitor the water temperature to ensure it is to your liking - please use the floating thermostat provided. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the soaking tub, by using the tub you agree that you have no medical conditions that may preclude you from doing so.   You will be given guidance on use of the hot tub on arrival.

Candles and tealights

To ensure the safety of all our guests, the use of candles and tea lights is not permitted inside or outside the hut at any time.

Breakages & Damage

We trust that you'll treat our huts with care and respect. Please leave the accommodation tidy, and if anything accidentally gets broken, simply let us know so that we can replace it for our next guest. We understand that wear and tear is normal, and we only charge for replacements in exceptional circumstances. Additionally, guests will be responsible for any items that are removed or lost from the accommodation.

Smoking

To maintain a pleasant environment for all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the huts (including e-cigarettes). If you do smoke outside, we kindly ask that you dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly and please use the ashtrays provided.

Pets

While we adore pets, including our own resident poodle-mix, Chip, to ensure the comfort of all guests, we regretfully cannot accommodate pets on our premises. If needed, we're happy to provide information about local kennels upon request.

Zero-Tolerance

Please note that we have a zero-tolerance policy to the possession/use of illegal drugs on our premises.

Utilities

Your comfort is important to us, and we strive to provide uninterrupted utility services throughout your stay. However, as this area is rural utility services may fail from time to time (such as water, wi-fi and electricity), please notify us immediately.

Extreme weather

While we hope for ideal weather conditions during your stay, we understand that extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances may arise. Glamping Rann na Feirste cannot be held responsible for guests who are unable to attend due to factors beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions or traffic issues. In such situations, including snow, flooding, high winds, road traffic accidents/congestion, flight or bus delays, etc., if you are unable to reach us alternative dates will not be offered. If we, for safety reasons, make the decision to cancel your stay due to extreme weather conditions (such as snow or high winds), we will happily offer you an alternative date, subject to availability.

Liability

We want your stay to be worry-free, and we take every precaution to ensure your safety. However, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to your property, including vehicles or vehicle contents, during your occupancy. Should you inadvertently leave any items behind in the hut, please let us know, and we can arrange for return by post.

There are circumstances entirely beyond our control that may impact your stay, such as flood, fire, earthquakes, acts of nature, or instances where the huts becomes uninhabitable due to irreparable damage or health and safety concerns that could not reasonably have been foreseen.
